Dwyer's State Line Beer & Wine/Vermont State Liquor Store — Local services in Pownal

Dwyer's is a very good beer, wine and liquor store with nice fresh sandwiches and other foods during the day. They have a huge selection and a large walk-in "beer cave" with choices from all over the world. The folks who work there are wonderful and keep the often-long lines moving well. Unfortunately, I can only give Dwyer's two stars because they are EXTREMELY overpriced. We went in to get grinders for lunch and I got a buffalo chicken grinder and my wife got a turkey and cheese grinder they were great the meat was more than enough on each sandwich it was 7 in Long and it was good they have also pasta salads and other salads that are cold and sandwiches that are warm. I love this store! It has so much variety. Things I've never even seen before! It's surprisingly big inside and they maximize their merchandising. Liquor, beer (so good ones), mixers, coolers, snacks, lottery, vapes. Everything you would need and more from a package store.
