Pikes Peak Scenic Overlook — Local services in Prairie du Chien

Absolutely stunning gorgeous loved it. It was the first view along the river I showed my flat land dwelling partner, and he told me it was one of the best views he had ever seen. Very peaceful spot. Just down the sidewalk you’ll find wooden stairs that lead down to bridal veil falls, not very impressive in many ways, but worth the short walk if you’re visiting the overlook. I sat under the falls for a half hour or so and it was immensely serene. The sound of water falling in conjunction with the beautiful view is almost hypnotic and most certainly healing. It is even more beautiful in person then it is online. While I was there in October 2022, they were replacing some of the old concrete in the parking lot and sidewalk that lead from the parking lot.
