Everything went smoothly as far as the transaction of choosing and receiving our mattress. The only 2 negatives were that the sales gentleman in the store was less than enthusiastic in his interaction with us. It wasn’t that he was rude but rather he didn’t seem interested in whether we bought or not. He wasn’t high pressure and we appreciated that. But he was also just disengaged. He also wore an outdoor jacket which gave the impression he had somewhere else to be. Second was the mattress we selected had to be ordered. So we did that through the store. It took a really long time for it to arrive and once it came we were expected to wait another 2 weeks for it to be delivered because we live in Canton apparently. We ended up just making another trip to pick it up ourselves. So going to the store is helpful to see and touch product but if I had to do it again I would have just left and ordered it ourselves online. Customer service was just mediocre. Slumberland had a good selection and reasonable prices, although we were completely unimpressed with the salesman who was sitting behind the counter with his can of NOS. We were in the store well over 45 minutes (only customers) before we approached him for information. He still refused to move from his chair, never once smiled, barely spoke, and did not offer assistance in any form. We did make a purchase because we were up against a deadline and don’t have a lot of spare time to shop around. At some point he did mention that he works on commission. I hope he considers donating this commission to the needy - as he did not earn. Who knows - I’m sure he is a great guy and possibly was just having a bad day like I have myself on occasion. At any rate, I hope this gentleman has a good new year. We still hope to purchase some additional pieces of furniture in the future & will more than likely shop a few other local stores before we make another stop at...

I wish that a person could have at least an option, to purchase something that was Real Wood, not one of their items in the entire store are 100% Real Wood. If they had even a few options it would be an improvement, Even if the cost was more, for the real thing, even though some of their things look like Real Wood, I was disappointed when the clerk told me they didn't carry any 100% Real Wood products, not one. I still made a substantial purchase, they have a satisfactory selection, but A few options of Real Wood would have made the experience even nicer, & I wouldn't have had to go to another store to...
