I have never been so disappointed by how I was treated by that family. I bought several items out of that location for many years. Keep in mind they always got paid for what I spent my monies on. The mother appeared to not care for African American people. I paid them for everything that I bought in the store. Keep in mind when I purchase all these items from them I never knew about there new policy. I had bought several items from them. I had spent nearly 500.00 hundred dollars for all the items I had on layaway with them. On the Friday in which I made several calls to the letting them know I was sending someone to pick up the items. I even got my friend to call them to let them know who was coming to pick up those items from them. They would not answer this here phone. On the following z Monday they conveniently asserted the phone to tell me they had sold my merchandise. I keep in mind that if I was suppose to pick my belongings that rightfully belonged to me and they claimed they sold them. I’m just warning all people of color not to do business with them. They have no respect for out monies nor our business we give them. Keep in mind I have done nothing to desire any of this. I simple prayed to God to handle the misevil thing anyone could do to a person. They sold everything I bought from them. I spent right at 500 .00 dollars with them. They had every dime I owe them. All I’m doing is warning all Afro Americans to be aware of the evilness of this business. I did absolutely nothing to them. They collected double pay fir the same merchandise. I spent 509.00 dollars of my hard earn monies for them to collect double payments for everything I bought from them. People of color please be aware of doing busy with them. They have no respect for people of color e specifically the mother. Everything I have said is to be the truth. I’m just warning all Africa Americans to think before you do business of any sort with them. I did absolutely nothing to deserve any of this racist treatment. They would have never done this to there race. If God is my witness and he knows the evilness they did to me. I serve no justice to them but the God I server have no mercy on them. We are not talking about a few dollars. They stole right at 500.00 dollars from me. Then they sold it again and collected double for it. Aldo Americans think twice before you do business with them. I had been doing business for years with them. So that tells you they.care nothing...
Read moreCan not recommend this business. I was a consigner with the Moms Marketplace event owned by the same owner on the backside of this business twice a year for a couple of years or so. In October 2022 I posted a reminder on a local moms Facebook page last year to remind folks to check the sizes of the clothing they pick out matches the tag and is in the right section because I didnt do that and ended up purchasing 3-4 items that were not tagged right including a pair of size 6 pants paired together with a 2T shirt and called a 3T on the tag in the 3T section of the racks. I get it, mistakes happen and it isn't anyone's fault but mine for not checking. I then recieved harassing text messages from the owner, Ms.. Brenda, asking me to consider to remove my post because I was "crazy for defaming moms marketplace and bringing down my own sales and the sales of others." When I tried to explain that I was simply reminding folks to check the sizes because of the no return policy and was more concerned about doing the right thing instead of the money she said "everyone was quite irritated that I would do such a thing" and showed her the post. I apologized and advised that must have been overwhelming on such a busy day and I also edited my Facebook post to apologize for the drama to the other consigners. However. I never recieved any apology from Ms. Brenda as a result I stopped consigning and shopping at Moms Marketplace or...
Read moreThe past two times we’ve been we’ve had a bad experience. Today as we were waiting to check out I sat my one year old on a golf cart at the front and a worker storms around the corner and said to get him off because it was an expensive golf cart. The way you present things to people and tone of voice really says a lot. We won’t be back. We proceeded to put all of our items back and left. Not exactly sure how a one year old is going to break a golf cart by sitting on it but to each their own. Maybe if we don’t want someone sitting on or touching something that is for sale we should have a sign (which I did look for before sitting him on it). Also not sure how much “playing” a child who can’t even walk is going to do on a golf cart. I could understand if he was jumping up and down and acting rowdy but he was quite literally sitting on a darn seat while we were waiting and I was standing beside him the entire time. It must be a real POS of a golf cart if a 20lb child can break it that easily. I also see now that the owner is the one who made the snarky remark so no surprise there that we are trying to justify how she acted. Learn how to talk to people and we never would’ve...
