Bella Nails Spa — Local services in Prince Frederick

I am new to the area and decided to come here because it had the best reviews of any nail salon locally. Unfortunately I was sadly mistaken, I asked for a pedicure as soon as I walked in and it didn’t seem that busy. The man at the desk asked me to pick a color and immediately put me in a chair and filled the tub up for my feet. I was assuming that meant someone was available but I soon noticed that there were four other ladies that were sitting with her feet in the bath for a long period of time also. I ended up waiting an HOUR with my feet eventually in cold water and White from soaking so long before someone was able to get to me without any communication about how long it was going to take. Once the technician started, there were multiple cuts and scratches from the nail files and corner clippings. In the middle of my pedicure, two of the other technicians Who were doing pedicures as well started arguing with each other and yelling in front of everyone. This lasted for about 20 minutes where they went back-and-forth and left their clients sitting there waiting on them to finish arguing after making all of us wait over an hour to begin with, while the gentleman at the front desk urged them to stop. I have been recieving service from here for over 5 years and the last year has been a challenge . I think my generousity was taken for granted. When I started recieving services it was gel nails with two designs and my feet done with the big toe designs this would cost me $100-$120. now when I get both done it's $140 and I always tip nicely. so when I got hit with the $140 bill I just gave a $10 tip as before I always gave a $20 tip. So I decided to go get a pedicare only and was given a bill for $85 which is crazy because I pick a $50 pedicare and the technician stated I paid for a design on my big toe that look like glitter polish on my big toes. I was so disapointed because at this point it's price gouging. I was so upset I paid and said they will never have my business again. It's not a money issue but it's the business tactics that bothers me because I have always believe in getting what yu pay for but in this case it wasn't worth $85 for the pedicure. This is when I realize I was being robbed. I am writting this days later because it still bothers me that they would be price gouging during these times. I always get stuck with the same girl. I think she is the manager, so I stopped going. She does an awful job. But today I was in a hurry and didn't have time to go to my normal shop in Laplata. I walked in and told the guy at the desk I wanted the acrylic soaked off because its been a while and they were starting to lift. I also told him I wanted to do dip powder this time. Of course he tells me to have a seat at the managers station. But again. I was in a hurry so I did. She started to use the drill to take off my gel polish, just a couple swipes and then got up and told me to go over to another station. Very confused I moved and Rachel started back up where she had left off. Next thing I know she is doing a fill. I didn't say anything because I didn't want her get upset and rush through my nails. I just reminded myself that this sort of thing is exactly why I don't come here. She did an okay job. Do they not listen to what you want ? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! not even when I'm in a hurry.
