Very disappointed. The new ownership has come in and changed too many things and tried too hard to make a good thing better…in return, only making it worse. Trucker’s Day at the Buck is THE local event for all truckers (people plan their summers around it, not to mention the drivers who take a week off making money for their families to participate for the Children’s Miracle Network) and this year was an absolute joke! Don’t get up in the announcers stand and talk about how amazing truck drivers are and how you appreciate how hard the work they do is, and then do them dirty the way you did this last weekend. We had old-timers who had whole fleets of custom trucks there who were flabbergasted at who won awards for the show section. The “best antique truck” had a giant dent in the sleeper for crying out loud! And somehow beat the antique truck that was there that won Best of Show at a national show just this spring??? Doesn’t even begin to make sense. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have knowledge from several competitors, that you didn’t even judge all the trucks that were there (and paid to be judged). You also told drivers during the pulling drivers meeting that there would be a pull off if they made it past 300 ft. Which you then went back on, causing some drivers to stop after 300 and then losing because things weren’t run fairly. You can’t deny something that most people are saying is true. You had record numbers this year for Trucker’s Day, and after everybody hears how they were mistreated, you’ll have record numbers next year too just record lows. We’ve already determined, unless things change, we won’t be back. As competitors or spectators. Real truck drivers...

Visited for the first time over the 4th of July holiday for Freedom Fest and then the Demolition Derby on Saturday. Positives first- the Demolition Derby was so cool! We can't wait to come back. Good thing we thought to bring blankets up at 4 to reserve seats. The regulars are on top of that! We also really enjoyed that you played music to accompany the fireworks. Lastly, the free camping over the weekend was greatly appreciated. Now for the negatives- communication was very frustrating. When you're trying to plan 5 days of events and activities for immediate and extended family in a place that you've never been, questions come up. Our phone calls, voice messages and emails were (mostly) ignored. Camping during the concert was frustrating. Initially you advertised that we could camp until Sunday, then come time for the event, you say Friday morning. This was confusing. Also, you advertised book early because spaces were limited. You made it seem like it was going to be packed, like a music festival. We booked early and for $75 a spot, you squeezed the handful of RVs/campers in like sardines. We would have been better off waiting until last minute and getting an end spot. The spaces you marked off were so close together that we couldn't open our door or windows on one side because of a large RVs generator exhaust pipe and on the other side, chain smokers. There was plenty of room on the tree line to spread out (which we were finally able to do on Friday). Overall, we had a great time at your venue and exploring southern...

Not sure what happened to this place but tonight was a CF. First traffic was backed up for almost an hour trying to get in, 272 backed up both ways. No one directing traffic or parking. (Edit: not sure where these 15 people were you claim, no one parked anyone) Tried buying tickets, website didn’t have event listed, then later while sitting in traffic the event was listed again (it literally was taken down and then put back up) . Got there and the food lines were hundreds long. Wife got stuck for 1.5 hours waiting for food, show was over when she got food. 5 out of 6 trucks broke. Trucks that did run were lackluster performances. Lots of disorganized people moving things around wasting time between a couple minutes of action. Announcer had no clue what was going on, forgot to announce a stunt they took 10 minutes to set up and everyone missed it. Then at the end he said “we have more coming up, oh wait, that was the end, never mind” Leaving traffic as again a total disaster with no one stopping traffic as in previous years. I think this place must be under new (or no) management, it was a disorganized mess! Won’t be wasting $22 again until they get their act together. Lots of upset people complaining in the stands.

Edit: nothing inaccurate about my review, and talked to many others who shared the same opinions about your facility that night . Instead of denying , you should make improvements. Someone is going to get killed pulling out on to 272 because it’s a free for all with no one directing traffic like...

I gotta say I’ve been here before many times before and it has NEVER been this busy. At this point they are selling more tickets to people than to what the Buck can hold. Like if there were to be an accident that happens here, how is any emergency vehicles supposed to get through. This used to be a fun, family friendly place to enjoy. Now it’s not even enjoyable to watch due to too many lines having to wait 45 minutes to an hour or even longer. There’s no structure like there used to be. Honestly unless you plan on coming like 2 hours before the gates open, it’s best not to waste your money or time. Too busy, unless they plan on changing the way they run things.
