Big Machine Distillery — Local services in Pulaski

My review is for their whiskey.

💯 Percent trash. #1. I had a hard time opening the bottle because the top separated from the rubber stopper. #2.💯 The worst whiskey I've ever had. You can give it a try but after 2 drinks, one straight, another with a cube of ice, I drain poured the whole bottle of Clayton. It was not worth the 17.99. it wasn't even worth donating it..#3. " Bottle and bonded" is not the same as bottle and bond... 90proof vs 100proof. #4 don't let the color fool you, yes it's dark, but it's super young, and super harsh, and leaves an awful after taste. . Last this is just my opinion, maybe there was something wrong . Maybe the only reason the liquor store had it for sale was because it came as a "deal".. who knows but I'll never buy it again.

Finally, I did reach out to you all "big machine", I did get a sorry but the response " free tour and free bottle" if I visit is still a slap in the face. I'm going to do neither. That's how dissatisfied I am. I told you where I bought it from exactly, but apparently your reach through the grape vine isn't that great to truly reconcile my issue... so I'd have to come to u, smh ..nope.

I wish I could give Kenzie and Hailey more than 5 stars. I cannot begin to tell you what a bad day I was having feeling homesick for a decent winery with views. We were headed home and just happened to drive by this HUGe sign that said distillery and I turned the car around.

We arrived an hour before close and protocol states that they can’t serve cocktails an hour before they close, but they were happy to do a partial tasting for me which included my pic of three items. My SO tried three different things than me and it was just as wonderful as the staff.

We had no idea that this little slice of heaven had so much to offer and will be back! Not only did both employees walk me through the tastings but gave us recommendation last of their TWO other facilities! We can’t wait to visit them all! Saturday afternoon visit on the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, we stopped in Big Machine. The spirits are top notch. The platinum filtered vodka is excellent, similar to Tito's, it is a corn based vodka. Super smooth! The Clayton James Tennessee Whiskey is also recommended. It is technically a bourbon and a wheated bourbon at that. The tasting is extensive! We samples 11 offerings from this distillery! If you can asked for a guide, ask for Rudy! She is very informative, answers all your questions, and really helpful with the tastings.
