I shop almost every morning, Monday - Friday. Let me just say, the women that work here bust their butts every day!! They greet me every morning and already know what I want....but this morning, I saw something that I can't support, so I won't be returning...When I was checking out, I saw a sign that said they are no longer allowed to accept tips!! Absolutely ridiculous. If I want to give them some money out of my own Pocket, then what's the problem? I spend about $100 a week at this gas station, but I won't be spending another dime there because of this decision!! I would have walked out if I was them! I'm going to miss seeing those lovely ladies every morning, but I can't get behind this. If it's not costing you anything, what does it matter to you? Even Subway accepts tips, little Caesars allows you tip, but these ladies all of sudden can't accept it? Makes you feel stupid to hand a tip to someone and for them to tell say they can't take it, or did you plan on leaving that trashy sign up forever? It just goes to show that these owners have zero appreciation for the hard work that these women put in every single day of the week! After spending $50 on fuel we had what may be the worst food I have ever bought in Giles County. The chicken a fish boxes were expensive but would have been a fast supper. The hush puppies were hard little knots with no flavor but old grease. The chicken tenders were so hard we had to pull them apart into little pieces to even chew them. Great prices for good food! The employees were welcoming right when I got there. They were joking with each other and having a good time while they all worked. Good vibes all the way around. It is worth checking out and enjoying some good food made from great people. They have a fuel Island for tractor and trailer. The diesel price was cheaper than in town, so I came here to fuel and decided to eat. I come to town to pickup loads and this will be my stop if I’m hungry or need fuel on the way out.
