They have been willing to open early/late for us since we're regulars during the season but everyone here is so friendly and personable and willing to go above and beyond to help us out, from letting us pick a partial pint of berries and charging 50%, letting us stay past official closing time, to holding things for us behind the counter while we pick. You just have to ask them if you can pick "drops" (the apples that fall off the trees onto the ground). You can bring your own box, and they'll give you a price depending on how big the box is.
