If you're in the Putney area, and need maple products, this is the place to go. Other places try to be this place, but this place is that place and all other places just don't place. Plenty of parking on a wonderful sunny day. Went inside and was immediately greeted by the nice young lady at the counter. Walked in and browsed first. Didn't want to seem greedy. Found a sale rack in the back, which was stocked, and went back up front to grab a basket. Found all kinds of items on that rack to give to friends. FYI, I grew up here and am home visiting, so I'm bringing it all back so my southern friends can experience the real stuff. While checking out, we observed the amazing food menu above the counter, and were enticed. I ordered the Diabolical Donut Bowl. Get it. Don't hesitate. Get it. Waffle bowl with a warmed apple cider donut on the bottom. Maple creemee on top. Drizzled with dark maple syrup. Dude. Wow. Less than $6 for this dessert from the gods. Why are you still reading? Read moreWe discovered this charming spot on our way home from Green Mountain Orchards, and it truly captured the essence of Vermont. Nestled amid the rolling hills of Putney, the setting is beautifully rustic with that unmistakable natural Vermont charm.
Their maple creemees were outstanding — made with their own pure maple syrup. The maple–chocolate twist was exceptional; the chocolate was rich and deeply cocoa-forward, perfectly complementing the sweet, silky maple.
Inside, the shop offered an array of thoughtfully curated, locally crafted gifts: honey and beeswax candles, wooden toys and cutting boards, and an impressive selection of their own maple syrup products. Every item reflected care and craftsmanship.
It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and savor the simple joys of Vermont. We’re already looking forward to visiting again on our next trip...

There is a nice clean bathroom inside and areas to sit inside and outside. Everything was super clean and the prices were reasonable there were two young women working behind the counter and they were super nice. They even gave us samples of the different maple syrup so we knew which one to buy. They also have drinks in a refrigerator and also sell souvenirs besides maple syrup products I paid with a tap to pay function or otherwise known as Apple Pay. It was a really delicious ice cream. If you’re in the area, come check it out you will not be...
