Blue Max Meats — Local services in Puyallup

So I ordered 2 picnic hams but they didn't come in the weight I needed (one would think that they would come salted and cured) not this time. And granted this was 2 weeks before I needed them....well 1st a whole leg come in ...not salted ,not cured. A few days pass and more mis communication, I get a call that says your hams are in , I ask again....salt d n cured? Nope same leg. So I have 2 days I'll go to cash n carry and get a couple of Farmlands (on sale for 1.99 a pound) well a few minutes later a guy calls back and says no we have your hams here. Success, my cousin goes to pick them up. Saturday at party as she is taking them out of oven proceeds to tell me that they were not "anything special, just Farmlands ham" I said you got to be kidding me? For 2.99 a pound all I got was regular store bought Farmlands that were a dollar more a pound cause I got them at a meat market. And I have gone there for years, even during the selling of the biz. I think I'm ordering like farm fresh or something special nope, overpriced regular ham. Now don't get me wrong Farmland is good , but tell me they are farmland, next time it's cash n carry or Costco. I LOVE Blue Max Meats🍖 my family visits this establishment at least once a month, the staff are so friendly, out going, knowledgeable, and helpful to say the least. I love that I can buy Ground Beef in bulk and Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast as well. I swear by buying in bulk it allows me to go home and break it down into meal size bags so I can then label it and freeze it for future use. My 5yr old daughter loves the Homemade Pepperoni Sticks and my WHOLE family love the Beef Jerky so its a monthly must. We also enjoy that you can get specialized meats such as Apple Pie Stuffed Pork Chops, Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin, Meatloaf, Tomahawk Steaks, Cordon Blue, and soooo much more!!! Blue Max has 2 locations Buckley and Puyallup and both accept EBT/SNAP benefits as form of payment. The family friendly environment will keep you coming back just as much as the meats offered, and don't think Blue Max Meats forgot about man's best friend cuz they also offer a wide variety of fresh meat bones, pig ears, and more. We went to this location yesterday and got a couple of their freezer packs to stock up! The staff was VERY friendly, informative and very helpful!

Their jerkey and elk pepperoni is DELICIOUS and the marrow bones for our 3 dogs were a huge hit! ( not a bad price either)

I believe his name was malakai (spelling?) he is the manager we spoke to and was very friendly! I didn’t catch the name of the gentleman that prepared our order but he was amazing also!!

Called in to see if I needed to place the freezer pack order over the phone and they said there was no need and to just pop in, not much of a wait for them to get everything packaged up for us. ( everything was labeled and weighed for each individual package in case anyone is curious.

We ordered 3 of their freezer packs so it’s definitely helpful for everything to be labeled in the freezer. 🙂
