Spent hundreds of dollars getting tested and a physical for the practical nursing application. Doris drake initially seemed communicative and seemed as though she would work with me. Ultimately, although this was NOT clearly mentioned on the website, and was not mentioned during a phone call with a program administrator, the TEAS test I took with a decent passing score of 86, was null because they don’t accept online proctoring. Gadsden tech themselves stopped offering the test, and referred me to lively, who did not respond to emails or phone calls for weeks, and eventually stated that they no longer offered the test. Doris also claimed they could not see the multiple vaccination documents I uploaded. After running around trying to get everything done, I communicated that things may not be aligning as there was no way to retest within the deadline, due to the ATI rule of having to wait 2 weeks to retest, on my own dime mind you. Doris told me she would be removing my application because I expressed that I would be considering other options as well. It felt very spiteful, very fake, and very retaliatory. Pleased to see 'Gadsden Technical College' still up and running in our fine city. It is very beneficial to this community. Programs include: Power Equipment Technology, Pharmacy Technician, Practical Nursing, Adult Education, Diesel Systems Technicians, Automotive Technician, Carpentry, Barbering and Cosmetology, Nails Specialty, Facials Specialties, Commercial Class B Driving, etc. High-school students can even dual enroll.
