My family and I had a pretty fun visit to this family farm. The animals were mostly friendly, although the pig bit me. The tortoise and mini horse were a lot of fun and we enjoyed them. My kids were a little skittish at first since it was their first time around farm animals so they didn’t really know what to do and there wasn’t a ton of guidance on how to handle the animals. While we were checking out all the animals, we were expecting to be able to go back and forth between the different animal pens. Then the next group arrived early. Instead of having them wait another 15 minutes until our encounter was over, they allowed the large group into the goat pen and they never left before our tour time was over! We didn’t get to hold the newborn baby goats or even take any pictures with them. My kids and I were pretty disappointed and there were some tears on the way home. If you are charging $50 for a private 30 minute encounter, then that’s what you should provide.
Update 8/29/25 The Langley’s were gracious enough to invite us back out for another visit to the farm. This visit was fantastic! They still had the adorable baby goats and we all got to hold them and take photos. Our wonderful hosts helped my daughters hold both the adult and baby chickens, feed the mini horse, and they got to pet the tortoises and rabbit. It was a magical visit! Thank you for inviting us back to enjoy the full Langley Farm experience!
Update #2 - 8/29/25 I’ve just seen your response to my initial review after writing my update from today’s visit. I’m sorry you think that my original review was fraudulent or untrue. However, not one word of it was false. You did let another family in to the goat pen at 3:45 pm when our paid visit was from 3:30-4 pm. You may want to review your video footage again! Once again, we thank you for a wonderful time today, but don’t appreciate the false accusations. I’ve removed a star (from 5 to 4) for...
Read moreJust went today on a whim, super last minute booked a slot that was available. This petting zoo is so much better than you would expect, 100 times better than the petting zoos you’d find at a fair or something like that for the simple fact that it is just you and whoever you bring (up to 8 people max) no other groups or anything. Which makes such an amazing experience. The owner is an extremely nice guy, was super accommodating, shared the animals names with us and gave us some cool stories on some too. He helped my family of four (including our 3 year old son who is on the spectrum ) feel super comfortable with all the animals, and even helped us pick up and hold the chickens. There are chickens, goats, and the best little pig you’ll ever meet. There’s a mini horse who loves carrots, and bunnies and a baby turtle and big turtle too. We got a lucky treat and he brought out some of the cutest puppies for my family to hold and snuggle with too, but this isn’t a guarantee all the time because I think it depends on if he has any puppies available so don’t be upset if there aren’t any puppies included. The owner provides some feed snacks to give them, but we brought our own veggies and fruit to feed them and the animals LOVED IT. Highly recommend if you do decide to get veggies and fruit to get bananas, lettuce, and carrots, just make sure to save some carrots for bandit (the mini horse) and the bunny! Fun experience, well...
Read moreI recently took my preschool aged grandkids to visit Langley Farms and had a great first time experience. It's a clean and friendly home business environment with ample parking. They sent confirmation messages prior to arrival and were prepared for our timed session. There were several goats chickens, some pigs, a rabbit, and turtles. The owners were friendly, informative and very attentive to kids if they were hesitant to be around animals. We received some chicken eggs with the paid visit. I recommend a trip to the suburban petting zoo/ farm for personal interactions with some...
