Excellent Recreation Area: Fishing, Hiking Trail, Picnic Area, Wheelchair Accessible, Latrines
This is not only a great place to fish but also has a picnic area as well as a hiking trail.
We fished off the spillway and caught some walleye, catfish, and bass. We saw other people catching 20lb and 30lb fish. We definitely need to rethink our gear. I had no idea fish that large were in there.

Caught a Redhorse sucker which I hadn't caught in some years and a Log Perch which I had never caught before . Also caught a beautiful juvenile carp . Have had good luck here in the past as well having also caught spotted bass, white bass, small striper and even a couple small walleyes . Great place to take the kids as there is plenty of flat areas for to fish from . Easily accessible for everyone as a matter of fact . Restrooms right in the parking area so also a...
