We did a lot of research when we wanted to choose our family companion. Finally after 6months of contemplation we came to the conclusion that a mini Springerdoodle would be best for our family and reached out to GA Dog Club. We were very dead set on getting this specific type of breed for a multitude of reasons and size we preferred.

I must admit, we were very hesitant at first because of the horror stories you hear with puppy mills and breeders, brokers, all the crazy stuff that’s out there these days. I called the NC location and spoke with a representative that said she would locate any information in the specifics of our pup’s exact breeds/etc. I will only say that the office/pup meet appt was a bit odd at first because they wanted to instantly bring us a puppy but we insisted that we wanted the paperwork to provide her listed breeds and size (not to mention if you’re paying for a $1300 dog…you should get exactly that…) before we ever saw her. I was shocked when the GA dog club was able to provide us with photos of the mother and father of our pup (previously Gianna, now Pepper) and also provide us with the mother’s AKC registration numbers. We did a search of that information and the photos matched with the breed listed. We instantly felt complete relief as we were more than willing to travel to get the breed we were looking for, but we truly fell in love with Peppers pictures on their website. Mother was listed at 30lbs, father was 15lbs. She’s about to be 5m old and is just now at 17lbs (she was 7.2 on adoption).

We have now had Pepper in our lives since 7/7/23 and she has been an absolute joy to our family. English Springer Spaniels are well known to be great family dogs but also very docile and smart as a whip. She is just that and MORE. The most loving sweet pup we’ve ever had! Thanks for helping us find our “Peeps” “Pepperchinni” “Pepperoni” 🖤

Thank you so much for being able to work with us and being able to provide us the confidence we needed to make our family’s right decision!

(I am only giving the GA Dog Club a 4 star, would do 4.5, due to the day of adoption we felt that it was odd that it took them an extended amount of time to gather the mother’s/father’s background information as I had requested it days in advance. Our appt with them was rather lengthy and we were there for...

Buyer Beware: Georgia Dog Club (and Charlotte Dog Club) are brokers NOT breeders. I was going to get a pup from them until thankfully I was able to get the real truth. One of their staff admitted their puppies come from AMISH breeders (the Amish are the most notorious puppy mills…Google it for yourself). In addition, I was directly told the puppies are NOT socialized since they’re not bred/kept in home environments, they are in kennels.

Puppies arrive a day or two before the available date on the website, and you have to pick up your puppy within 7 days from these Dog Clubs so they are not there long enough for real socialization. Puppies are kept in drop crates, in the building next to main visiting area (just like in a shelter). Now in most cases people are picking up their puppies at 8 or 9 weeks, so the owner has time to work on things during the most critical period of a puppy’s life (which is between 8-16 weeks); HOWEVER, the point of this review is to advise Georgia & Charlotte Dog Clubs are brokers for puppy mills and to beware. If you research the top problems with puppy mill dogs…it is possible health issues AND/OR socialization issues.

I’m not against breeders, it just needs to be GOOD breeder that really takes care of the dogs. You are getting a companion so be careful and diligent where you get your dog from. Good breeders treat their puppies as their own, help with socialization, and many start potty training with the puppies since they are kept in home environments. You will also be able to see the pup’s parents (you have no real info about the breeder nor the puppy’s parents when you get a puppy from the Georgia or Charlotte Dog Club…and that’s on purpose). Do NOT believe any nonsense about so-called “privacy” of the breeder.

Also keep in mind that the USDA governs livestock for mass production and consumption. Many livestock are kept in horrendous conditions and still pass inspections. Agencies like the USDA are short staffed, and often inspections don’t happen; so don’t trust the adage of “USDA inspected” for puppies either.

Folks, there are reputable breeders out there, stay away from brokers and...

From the moment I stepped into the George Dog Club, I was enveloped in a world where the welfare and love for dogs reign supreme. The ambiance was a blend of warm welcomes and the joyful barks of dogs, creating a melody that resonated with every animal lover's heart. The staff, a group of compassionate and knowledgeable individuals, were the epitome of professionalism mixed with a genuine love for what they do.

The adoption process was a seamless journey, meticulously designed to ensure the perfect match between the puppies and their prospective families. The transparency and thoroughness of the process were commendable, leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the well-being of the dogs. The club's dedication to educating new dog parents about responsible pet ownership was a testament to their unwavering commitment to creating a lifetime bond between the dogs and their families.

As I was introduced to my soon-to-be furry companion, the connection was instantaneous. The puppy was not only well-groomed but also in perfect health, showcasing the impeccable care provided by the George Dog Club. The joy in the eyes of my new friend mirrored the ethos of the club, a sanctuary where dogs are cherished and nurtured with love and professionalism.

The post-adoption support was unparalleled, with the club extending a helping hand whenever needed, making the transition smooth for both the puppy and me. The community of dog lovers I became a part of, courtesy of George Dog Club, was the cherry on top of an already extraordinary experience.

George Dog Club is not just an adoption center; it's a haven for dog enthusiasts and a beacon of hope for dogs awaiting a loving home. My life has been enriched with joy and unconditional love, thanks to the remarkable journey of adopting my puppy from George Dog Club. This establishment is a shining example of how dog adoption centers should operate, and I am beyond grateful for the beautiful addition...

We have had Buddy the cavapoo for 1.5 years. We are so blessed to have him. He is just the right mix of spunk for my kids and cuddler for me!

I see where this is going…After a $400 deposit and $2391 payment we walked out with a cute Cavapoo with bone narrow canine. Never heard of such but was assured by the GDC rep that the issue should be resolved once her adult teeth come in. Trust me I asked. She came home with us on 05/31/25 and has an appt to see our vet on 06/02/25. If the vet reaffirms what the GDC told me was a fact, I’ll report back. 06/02/25. The vet exam confirmed that our Cavapoo has minor case of base narrow canine. She stated that she is healthy and weighed 7.7lbs today. So that was a relief. But I never was informed PRIOR to arriving on Saturday of this condition. I work odd hours and unless I was sent a text while my phone was powered off I never heard of BNC. I did not receive any emails stating this information either. When my family arrived at the location the rep that helped us was holding a very lethargic pup. His/her head movements were extremely slow. The family that were standing in front of us was told that they could see two other pups if they liked. I assume they denied taking possession of this pup. So we had a side bar conversation and came to the agreement that if our pup looked and acted the same way, we were leaving without a pup. Luckily when she was carried out and handed to us she was very energetic. Tale wagging. Kisses. The whole 9. I would say the entire ordeal with this broker could have gone more smoothly.
