This store is truly wonderful. We went in today to search for some antiques and let our daughters spend their allowance on some treasures. Our eldest did not make a purchase. A few stores later, she was remorseful that she hadn't bought a cute little patchwork bear and was so sad about it. I went back to surprise her and the kindest woman (didn't catch her name, though I wish I had asked!) remembered that we had been in earlier and was so thoughtful, even taking the time to make an adorable little nametag for the bear with the name my daughter had mentioned she wanted to name the bear had she bought it. Gastonia is full of antique stores and we frequent them all, but this is the kindness and above-and-beyond customer service that makes one truly stand out! Read moreCame in with two 9 year old boys. While my business was welcome theirs was not. One had a hand full of items that he was going to purchase, he dropped a metal scoop. A lady came to the back and asked what had broken. I told her nothing and that a metal scoop had dropped. She asked to see it. Wow! I get it but there was no glass anywhere on the floor. I spent $75 in the store only because I can swallow my pride and still make a purchase. The kids put their items back. I believe they could sense that they weren't wanted in the store. I've never purchased anything here, and the few pieces I did look at were marked "Not for sale."
