Caught a few decent sized fish nothing huge , we drove almost 3 hours one way to fish idk if I’d do that again since we do have local options to us, but Lakes nice pretty clean did have a few floaters but that to be expected with people high sticking , not fun to pack all the stuff up that hill and around the lakes because you can’t drive around it so for us it was complicated having a toddler and our stuff lots of trips even with a cart . It’s an okay paylake. They keep increasing their prices and it’s at $30 a person now. Most expensive paylake in the tri-state. They do have big cats in here and it is a lot of fun catching one. They are VERY SLOW to weigh fish during tournaments. I waited over 20 minutes for the teenager to come weigh my cat during a tournament and when you’re using multiple poles and catch another, this is frustrating. This place has been detrimental to the ecosystem of the Ohio River. These guys pay commercial fisherman to go out and rob our public waters of these giant catfish and put them in their small pond where they cannot survive.
