I recently went into this store to buy a gas can. In addition to $40 in other miscellaneous items. My grandmother was also with me and spent about the same. When I left the store, I went and filled up the new 2 gallon can I had just purchased. Once I arrive home and go to use the can I realize a piece is missing. This being the piece that screws the actual nozzle into the can. I called the store to let them know. The first response I received was that if I had already put gas in it then it couldn't be brought back. So I tell the lady of course I had put gas in it..that's what I purchased it for. She then tells me I can bring it back. I go back the following day and the woman at the register asked if I had a receipt. Which i didnt (I didn't take the receipt when I left because I had no intentions on having to bring anything back). She said I can't give you a refund but I can give a store credit which was fine with me because I needed to purchase some other items. Then the lady who I originally spoke to the day before found me down one of the isles and said she spoke to a manager and they couldn't give me a store credit or refund because I had put gas in it and the can wasn't supposed to be in the store because it was toxic. The only option was to get another can which at this point I didnt need. She then took the can and walked away. I go up front to ask the lady where the old can was, she said outside. I then said ok where is the new can and her response with a snarky attitude was "on the shelf where you got the other one!" I left the store with a can that actually had all the pieces and none of the other items I intended to purchase. Once I got in my car I called the store and asked for the store managers name and phone number. She did tell me her name but said she didn't have her phone number (which I know isn't true). Then I asked when she would be in...conveniently she is on "vacation" for a week." Then hangs up. I call back again after being hung up on to ask for the store number...her response to that is we don't have a store number. (Once again not true) and hangs up again before I can ask anything else. WORST CUSTOMER SERCICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED!! I was able to speak to someone at HQ who said of course each location has their own store number but was able to look it up from the store address. Read moreI usually have had good experiences here but I think it’s pretty rude that the workers won’t let you even use the bathroom past 8 . They say the bathroom is “closed.” Especially for someone who is pregnant - this is very irritable , It’s already inconvenient for customers to have to ask for a key just to use the bathroom but to say it’s closed two hours before they even close is a pathetic excuse. I understand they have to clean the bathroom but it’s not like they couldn’t easily let someone use it when their 20 minutes away from their house and no other stores in range. This has happened twice, I think it’s just pure lazy...
