Yancey’s Pharmacy — Local services in Rayville

Today(Third occurrence) I went to pick up my daughter’s medicine. Upon arrival, the space cadet girl that has no clue ever, asked who I was picking up for. She’s only waited on us every-time just about. I told her my daughter’s name for the 20th time. She leaves me sitting at the window a good 8-10 mins. Then the pharmacist decides to come to the window and inform me that she didn’t get the medicine in time to order it. She just got it yesterday. I took my daughter to the dr on Monday. Now bc of our last occurrence, I waited till Thursday to pick up her medicine to allow plenty of time. I must add that I do not live in Rayville, and this is very frustrating being the third occurrence, third wasted trip/gas etc. A courtesy call could have been made to make me aware it wasn’t ready or there was an issue. How can I fix it if I don’t know? However, the space cadet at the drive thru Window is always on another dang planet. To clarify, the little dark headed girl(a name) is always friendly and helpful as can be, but she wasn’t there today unfortunately. Clearly she enjoys her job, and she portrays it well that she does. Space cadet(J name) is just there for the check and she makes that very clear. If there was really a problem with her prescription, maybe a courtesy call to notify me so I could fix it would have been the proper way to go about it, rather than assume I would already know and waste the trip/gas again etc. My dr in fact sent her prescription in Monday, explain to me why on Thursday it still isn’t there and noones called us to even inquire about it.
