So I'm at my sons. He has a bottle that was finished. It's not my 1st rodeo. I have a dairy where I live. It was a bottle of chocolate milk. I emptied it, I was going to buy more and get ice cream. Well I couldn't completely clean the bottle. There was a slight film in the corner. Well whatever I tried my best. I get there and I put it in the wrong return container. Now I'm old but this older lady comes out and says it doesn't go there. I say sorry I'll put it where it's supposed to go. I didn't know. I pulled it out and was going to put it in the proper container. Well this is when it went bad. She started yelling at me INFRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. She said I need to clean the bottle before I return it. I said I tried but I could not get that corner. She said I need to buy a brush. I said I didn't have 1 and she said well get 1 for Christmas. I'll do it this time but I won't accept it next. I said well you won't have too because I won't be back. Now this isn't a desert. There are other dairys in the area. I don't know who she thinks she is but I can assure you I will never be back. Try destiny's dairy or others in the area. NEVER EVER WILL BE BACK AGAIN. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm 60 and don't need to be treated this way. So I'm supposed to return a container that is sanitized?? You don't clean them? You just fill the returned container with out cleaning them? So...

We made a special trip out here Just for the milk and we left with SO MUCH MORE😄! We were introduced to Apple Valley Creamery milk via Peter's Orchard (also a terrific place and must see). Anyhoo, at Apple Valley Creamery we not only brought home 3 different kinds of milk but we also bought: a smoothie, local cheese curds, local cheddar, some of the best coffee I have had in years and homemade soap. They have several coolers with local meat and fish and they serve ice cream from another local place. If you like top notch turkey for your Thanksgiving, they are taking orders now. This is a half hr drive for us but it's totally worth it. We will be back. P.s. the milk bottles have a deposit but you can bring them back for the deposit refund or put it towards your next bottle of milk. We did...

According to a previous review by "Gerald," you should drive to Maplehofe, an hour and a half away. Ridiculous. I'm so sure someone's going to do that just for milk. By the way, Maplehofe is fifteen minutes from where I live, and I love their milk. But, Apple Valley Creamery has a great product, too. I found that out whilst on a road trip this past summer. Nice little shop; very friendly staff. That heavy cream--holy smokes, it is indeed thick. Sorry that I don't live closer or I would go back just for the cream.
