Faulkner's Store — Local services in Red Oak

I Have been coming to this facility for several years as my pitstop. This is the first time that I had a bad experience. I entered the store with my cardiac arrest medical alert Service Dog and was immediately put on the spot and told that I couldn't have the dog there. After trying to show them his certification, the woman behind the register, spoke over me, and even walked out to the table where I was with my family and continued speaking over me telling me I could sit outside with the dog. Not wanting to sit outside with a baby and the wind, I explain to her that he was legally allowed in the facility she still proceeded to urge me to go outside and leave the store. I think the staff needs to be educated in the as to the legal rights of a service dog. In the past I've always enjoyed coming here. The food is great, but after this event, even when I went up to the register to get a to go bag, I politely said thank you and I got a grunt as a remark just very poor and very bad service this...

They are always super kind when we come in and have some of the best food. I recommend the pot roast quesadilla, jumbo beef hot dogs with everything, or the popcorn chicken basket. Their chicken salad wrap is delicious too. The kids love when we come at night for the Hershey’s ice cream for dessert. Their gas is always decently priced as well. We stop here several times a week and get the hometown atmosphere every time. If your just driving through or new to the neighborhood I highly recommend...

Just traveling through and was kind of desperate to use the restroom...not much around for miles so I resigned to having to stop at a convenience store which in past experiences leaves much to be desired. However, I was pleasantly surprised to encounter VERY clean restrooms! Friendly and helpful employees made the less than 5 minute stop a positive experience. I'm not sure if it was the relief in my bladder or the nice employee that pointed the way to the restroom, but I left with a smile on...
