One star for the very nice lady in the shipping office and the kind yard jockey who helped me get my trailer, which was not in the loaded or empties lot, but hidden somewhere else.
The rest of the visit to the facility was pretty awful. There is no signage indicating what is where, where you should/shouldn't be, how to check in. Where to check in. Which of the 2 scales do you use? From what direction? Where do you exit the facility? The list goes on.
Edited to add ... as I scrolled down further, I see there IS a map. So. Why when I asked for a map SEVERAL TIMES, was a map not provided? Not at all impressed.
It would take someone in the office what, an afternoon, to fill out a map with the necessary information for drivers, so they arent driving aimlessly all over the facility in hopes of finding where they should be? Handed out at the first guard shack?
A lot of my drive time was wasted, being turned around, being told to turn around multiple times, because the way I was going "wasnt the right way." Well .... how am I supposed to know, when you have provided zero...
Read moreEach driver has there own experience with this place⦠here is mine: 10/16/21 - Arrived at 21:40 for a 22:00 appointment (according to IEL). The people we came in contact with were all nice. The staging area was a nightmare, they need a better set up. Checked in and was told they would call when they had a door for us. At 01:25, we received a knock on the window from the yard dog instructing us to proceed to door 9 (no phone call). At 03:39, unloader came out to unlock our airline hose and inform us that they would call us when the paperwork was ready. About 10 minutes later, another yard dog came up to the truck to inform us that the paperwork was ready to pick up at the check in/out gate (again, no phone call). We scaled, picked up the paperwork and were set free at 04:10. Summary of visit: Their phones must have been down Will probably never take another load from here again (not saying never, just probably not. The load would have to pay a lot higher than this trip) Small little Truck Stop across the road to finish out your 10 hr break...
