I booked a pony and a bouncy house for my daughter’s first birthday with them. They never picked up their phones or answered emails after they took my money through Pay Pal. They are almost impossible to get a hold of after they take your money.
The only time they called was to tell me some excuse that their car broke down an hour before the party and said they would be late. What kind of reputable business doesn’t have a back-up plan (another car or an alternative to fix a car quickly) or doesn’t leave early enough to plan for the unexpected?
They never showed up at all and stopped answering my calls, emails and texts. I have been requesting a refund and have yet to receive one. It was more than a week ago and they are avoiding me. My husband got a hold of them once after calling from a different number and they said they would refund us in a few days because that’s when they process their orders. That never happened.
Not only did they ruin my little girl’s first birthday, they also robbed me of my money and now I have to waste more time taking them to small claims court.
They are rude, irresponsible and unresponsive. Do not book with them! I wish someone warned me.
UPDATE after my posting: As an update to my situation, I finally did get a hold of them after having to resort to opening a dispute with PayPal, leaving negative reviews (which they continually deleted and wound up blocking me on Instagram) and contacting the Better Business Bureau and local papers to share my story, which I never wound up going through with since they told them it was being processed and they share the receipt with them -- something they still didn't send me to later that night.
In addition, after all of that, they also did finally answer me via text where they proceeded to tell me that they were going to send the cops to my house and sue me for slander for my actions that I was taking. I'm sorry I had to resort to all of that just to get their attention to refund me. It wasn't my choice, and not something anyone enjoys doing.
AND, on top of that, I was called a pig and stupid through text messages. They also told me that they processed my refund through PayPal (which was only in response to PayPal's dispute and not their own doing) and I wasn't self aware enough to realize that myself -- meanwhile they never told me and didn't answer any calls or texts until I had to get others involved, including reaching out to a lawyer after I was threatened to be sued. I am posting this because I have proof and saved messages, so indeed, it's a true experience and not slander or defamation of any kind.
Fast forward to today where my refund was supposed to be processed, and their bank declined it. I had to call PayPal again because I don't want to deal with Pony Express directly due to their horrible customer service where they probably won't answer anyway and I refused to be called any more names. I am eight months pregnant and don't need the stress or anger from them. PayPal confirmed that I will be refunded in three to five business days even if their account balance in their account has to go to negative. Thank goodness for PayPal's great customer service.
Just wanted to share the rest of my story. You can decide on your own if you want to work with them, but they are not recommended by me.
