We had a great time when we visited this pumpkin patch a number of years ago when our children were smaller and decided to go again this year while visiting from out of the area. What a disappointment! All of the rides or activities cost 1-2 tokens which cost $3 each. I think it is crazy to pay $6 for my kid to ride a pony on a hot-walker or $3 to shoot 5 arrows at a target. The corn maze was something like $8 per person. Funnel cakes were $8 and cotton candy was $4. I'm not sure how much pumpkins cost per pound as we had not planned to buy any. For our family of 5 to come out and spend a few hours it would easily have been $60-80. I understand it is a business but there are many many other pumpkin patch farms we have been to that do not make the experience cost prohibitive to...
Read moreWhile it was a nice place and view I was very disappointed by what the $30+ ticket price gets you. Pumpkins are not included and cost an additional $0.40 per lbs, the regular food trucks from the area jacked up their prices, the train rides were short, the market only had pumpkins and junk food, no crafts, no farm fresh produce, not even apple cider. I left feeling like I was taken advantage of because they are the only area option. While kids may be thrilled by it all you can give your kids a much better experience by driving to Aurora, OR and going to Fir Point farm or to Sauvie Island Pumpkin Patch in Portland. Next year I will not waste the money on tickets plus all the extras and drive to the valley where I can go in for free and pay for just the things I want...
Read moreThis place used to be great. There was plenty of fun activities, the animals were happy and kept on clean facilities and it still had the feel and charm of a working farm. This year that charm is missing. I feel like this is a large food court next to a maze with as many money making attractions squeezed in as possible. The problem with this is that the animals on the farm seemed miserable and stressed. I repeatedly noticed the sheep and goats becoming aggravated (as I would be if hundreds of people pulled on me all day). It doesn't even look like there's a pumpkin patch (not that I noticed) just a pumpkin market. The lines are miserable to the point of taking the...
