I never review anything, but after seeing one of the previous reviews, I felt that I had to speak up. The positive review had to be made up. I have been buying thousands of dollars of this candy for years to give to clients. I decided to place my order directly at the beginning of the season. I asked specifically if they could fulfill my order because of the state of the world. I was told "no problem " and was assured that I would receive my order. Fast forward, after many calls from my office and finally talking to someone, my assistant was told the order was cancelled. Not because of supply shortages or covid restrictions, but because they were under new ownership and just weren't making it. She was also told that they had cancelled many orders that people were expecting. Needless to say this left us scrambling at the last minute. After someone brought a box to the office, it was a godsend that we couldn't complete our purchase. I would have been embarrassed giving this out to clients. The box, and the candy was a mess. The traditional poinsettia Christmas lid is gone. It has been replaced with a clear plastic lid that does not seal the box. The portions are smaller and some but not all candy is in little paper cups. As far as the taste, it definitely doesn't taste the same. Quality has definitely gone downhill. Our yearly Christmas tradition has changed like everything else in 2020. Our new Christmas tradition has started with a company called Sarris. BUYER BEWARE. ...

The quality and quantity is not what it was with the Bashour family. The new owner has DESTROYED THE REDSTONE BRAND!!! Most recent purchase for Christmas back in Nov. 2022, called and did pick up at store. During Christmas week took bite of what was SUPPOSE to be a peanut butter log , boy oh boy, it was a choc. Covered brick....I kept it and called , was told no one was there to complain to , if in area bring it back and we will replace. They need to test products and not sell this item if they can't make it. This item is DANGEROUS.!! THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL OR WARNING ... PERHAPS TO LATE.... THEN THE MAJORITY OF THE ONE POUND BOX WAS CHOC PEANUT CLUSTERS. IM NOT PAYING THE PRICE FOR A BOX OF PEANUT CLUSTERS... Chocolate, not the same either. I know every company uses supply chain shortage EXCUSE. In this case, it poor ownership and quality.. I will take the suppose to be choc. Peanut butter log to co.when in area.. It needs testing to detect what went wrong. I am also taking back the remaining boxes I purchased for clients, that I didn't give out already and had to embarrassingly warn them of the brick logs.This was a product that I've have had since I rem in the 1960's. It didn't take long to destroy the BRAND..WILL I PURCHASE AGAIN???NOT SURE.....unless the company indicates It Went back to original recipes...

I want to give you a 1 star but my hand won't let me hit it so 2 it is. $75 spent on our old favorite 🍫. We couldn't wait until Christmas. When our package arrived it was completely different packaging sizes and shapes. The chocolate grahams, peanut butter logs, and assorted chocolates weren't wrapped like before. Shipping was fast so great job on that. But when we bit into peanut butter bites I thought my tooth was going to break, was it was so hard and super stale. The chocolate covered Oreos were the only thing that was half decent, although some were stale too. Chocolate grahams and cookies had a white appearance underneath so chocolate must be old. We have been eating this candy for over 12 years and we even moved to SC and got it shipped here. We bought it before in MD where we used to live and we will not purchase anymore. The new owners need to have a meeting with old ownership and go back to what people used to know and love. I can continue on but you get the point. I would love a refund for the disappointment. I should have read the reviews before purchasing but I just knew my chocolate was going to be super amazing. I want all customers to read reviews before they purchase. Please consider going back to normal for your reputation sake and most of all for...
