There is little I can add that has not already been said about this course to entice anyone to take the opportunity to slide out to Morton to give whirl. Let me try. Golf Digest ranked it #18 in the Best Golf Courses in Minnesota in 2019. In their top 20, only 6 of them are public and the rest at private. I played all six of them and I would easily put Dacotah Ridge higher. USA Today ranked it #8 on their list of Best Golf Courses You Can Play in Minnesota for 2020. I played all 10 of them this fall and again would put it higher on that list. If you appreciate a links style course with spectacular wide open views. It is without a doubt, best in state for this. The staff is friendly and the courses is manicured. It is a must golf.

Worst waitress. Ordered steak and crab legs, she failed to give us steak knives or the splitters for the crab legs; when we asked for them, she laughed sorry, I forget them in my pocket. She was less than tentative, dinner took more than 2 1/2 hours. Ordered steak medium-it was served more than well done!Food was cold by the time we received the steak knife, sour cream, cutters. Her service was awful, nothing to put our shells on other than the table itself. Had to walk to the bar to retrieve our credit card as she failed to return it. And PLEASE lady...STOP gnawing on your gum with your mouth wide open.

Anyone who has ever talked about Dacotah Ridge GC to me had nothing but great things to say about it. I golfed it for the first time the other day and now I understand why. It was absolutely worth the 2hr drive from Minneapolis and worth every penny! Phenomenal. On a side note, it was overcast and threatening rain, but never did. I played all 18 without seeing another golfer. Try to play a round like that in the metro, lol!

The golf course itself is one of the top courses in the state IMO. I have a love for lynx golf courses and Dacotah Ridge delivers. The greens are fast and in incredible shape. The fairways are meticulous and set you up for great looks at the green. The bunkers are massive and can be a daunting task to get out of. I have played this course 3 times and have yet to find a flaw in the course setup. Another nice feature to Dacotah Ridge is the driving range. The balls are in great shape, the hitting surface is well kept and the target greens give an excellent visual to dial in your shots.

I've only eaten once in the clubhouse. It was busy and it took a while to get our food. However, the staff did an excellent job of getting us our drinks. Overall, the experience at Dacotah Ridge can be memorable. i will be making the trek from central MN every summer in order to play this beautiful...

Second spring out group has played Dacotah Ridge. Love the course. Much more of a challenge when the wind is up (although, 30 mph winds were taking it a bit much! :) ).

Course was in excellent shape, especially considering the winter and spring we have had. Tee boxes and fairways were in excellent shape and the greens were decent.

The pro shop took good care of us, the carts are in good shape, and the on-cart GPS system is nice. The restaurant is much better than the casino's options for lunch and dinner.

There was a girls' high school golf tournament on two of the days we played. Slowed play down some but not too bad. And, it was fun to see the course full and the excitement the girls brought to the venue was fun.

Overall, a great venue and we had a great time. Looking forward...
