Kings River — Local services in Reedley

Always a good inexpensive place to visit water is not the best quality but it has a nice beachy area for Small children to easily access the water. If you are looking for something more extravagant to visit for a family outing select somewhere else but if it's an Average family weekend outing to swim barbecue or get a little relaxation this place is a good place for that. Great scenery easy fishing picnic tables barbecuers sand bathroom on side people selling Select items such as floats or rafts or tubes, or ice cream in snacks etc... There is also a place if you drive further down where the water is fresh from the mountains it's extremely cold however it is more private and more peaceful but all parts of the park are fun there is also a big playground and park Rangers on site during regular...

The Kings River is a great place to take grand kids for adventuers. I've been doing this several times a year for a decade and we always have a fun time. Our first stop is a pullout along the 180 where the kids love to throw and skip rocks. After a short drive along N. Piedra Rd. About a mile past Avacodo Lake, we make a stop at the diversion weer.
