Cashier refused to let my 8 year old have a bowl of ice cream stating that they were almost out of bowls and spoons. We saw bowls spoons on the counter behind the ice cream. Refusing to make my husband a milk shake. Said it would take him 20 min to wash the metal cup... my son who is 8 years old told the guy that he doesn’t want an ice cream cone because they are messy. The cashier replied this is when I would make fun of you if I was your older brother. He was just plain rude. I get that it’s a small roadside attraction however being nice to customers goes a long way. I literally have never left a bad review before but I’m so mad about how this young man treated my husband and son I had to say something.

Items include t-shirts, caps, magnets, collectables, koozies, playing cards, etc (think the gift shop at any state park visitor center). They also have a good selection of soft drinks and ice cream.
To me, the best part of visiting this gift shop was the chance to visit with Gary, the artist who created all the sculptures/artwork on the Enchanted Highway. What a story he has to tell about his work since 1989. Its artwork like this that makes the “Great American Road Trip” something special.
