A great selection of board games and other things (I go for board games). The staff tend to be friendly at the counter and will help you if you had a question. But otherwise, they usually will stay clear to allow you to browse without the added pressure of someone looking over your shoulder.
Some may find this helpful, like me, who know what they want and just may ask about a specific game. Others may find it a little offputting if they like help. I haven't really need to ask anything other than is x in stock, so I can't talk about the helpfulness or knowledgeable end of the staff, but I'm sure they will be glad to help. And I'm sure they could help guide your decision.
As with any game store, be prepared for MSRP. You won't get Coolstuff Inc or Amazon prices here. But you will get a game to take out and play that same day. And you may find sometimes a game like Scythe is in stock where others are out. Or some prices are close to cheaper places to justify paying a little more...

The used books section is a bit of a smattering, with numerous old editions and classic works alongside newer releases. I was amused to find a VHS copy of Fellowship of the Ring as well!
Recommended for gamers looking for a more unique store experience, and awesome for collectors of rare RPGs...

A personal story: When the new DnD book, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, came out, I asked if I could reserve one of the special edition copies and they put aside for me. In the day of, I was in an accident and wasn't able to make it. I messaged them on Facebook to let them know that I couldn't make it in and they were happy to hold on to it for another day.
I will always go out of my way to shop there first (even if Amazon would...
