Drove 25 minutes to grab a box of peaches because they were advertised at 34 dollars online, get inside to find the lady at the counter was asleep. Either way, I grab the peaches and go up to the counter where she is no longer sleeping, and ask how much a watermelon is. After being told between 4-6 dollars, I grab one. Expecting my total to be about 40 dollars, I’m surprised when I’m told 46. I explain that the website says 34 dollars for the peaches, and am told that she has texted the owner and she was told 40. Not sure where they do that at, but it’s not even acceptable at big box stores, so why would it be acceptable to change prices at a farm, same day?
