The Peacock Store — Local services in Renton

The quality of the products are excellent, but I am giving it 4 stars for the lack of professionalism and subpar service. I have ordered multiple times- delivery commitment and communication regarding delivery dates are always inconsistent and unclear. I have seen WhatsApp group updates where the owner says- whoever ordered that piece, please ping me again as I lost my phone contacts. Who does that? When you run a professional store, how is it that you cannot keep track of your orders? Also, there is some amount of fibbing and false promises. I have been given excuses such as package has been handed to courier, but courier did not give tracking number. They will then drag out the shipment process. Will tell you it is getting shipped today, but you have to chase them for 3-4 days afterward to get confirmation that it has shipped. They charge an additional shipping fee, but when package shows up damaged, they don’t have insurance to cover the damage. You have to pay in full and wait (blindly trust) for 3-4 weeks for the package to show up. Also, payment is through Zelle- so if seller delays/leaves you hanging which is bound to happen with this seller - there is no getting your money back or refund. Will I order again: maybe- only for those items that I know I don’t have a way of getting directly from India or if I am in a time crunch and don’t have the option of going to a physics...
