I was introduced to Brenckle’s Greenhouse by a co-worker when she suggested we buy our flowers for the roof garden at our place of business. I was not enthusiastic at first because I had never heard of it and I grew up in Shaler. When we arrived and entered the place, it was like a magic garden. Never have I seen such variety and beauty of flowers and plants, including vegetable and herb plants along with grasses, trees and anything you can imagine to beautify your home, business and your life. The workers were non-intrusive but available to answer any questions you may have or make suggestions based on your specific needs and they were friendly! I am now waiting for payday to go back and buy flowers for my own home. I fell in love with Brenckles Greenhouse at first sight. Those who gave it anything but a 5 Star review must have brought their own negativity to the place because it only offers beauty, happiness and efficiency. I highly recommend Brenckle’s Greenhouse to anyone looking for the best in gardening choices...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I start all of our seeds for our veggie garden and we’re having some troubles with our tomatoes and peppers so we stopped into Brenckles to ask someone a few questions. We thought they might not help us since we were doing our own thing but heck no. We talked to Ashley who let us explain everything going on, she listened to all of our concerns carefully and decided to call another worker, Greg, to get his input on what was going on. Greg thoroughly explained via phone what might be happening and gave many possible solutions that we ended up trying. After hanging up with Greg, Ashley explained that Greg was just there and this is his passion. And it shows. These are very knowledgeable, friendly and caring people at brenckles and we will surely be back.
Ashley and Greg, if you see this please know you made a huge impact on us! We truly appreciate you guys for taking so much time and care in talking to us about our...
Read moreI wanted to like this place. I live in the South Hills and made the drive recently… Unfortunately, my wife and I felt seriously judged when we were checking out… we were standing at the register for a few minutes after I said, “We’re ready,” to a woman fiddling with practically nothing multiple times... when she finally stopped what she was doing (nothing really), we tried to make small talk and were downright ignored. I asked my wife, “Babe, do you have the debit card?” you could see the disgust seething on this woman's face. She then proceeded to ask if this transaction was together. I'm a nice person, so I tried to continue being friendly. She didn't say hello or ask if we found everything okay. No, have a good day, or come back to see us. Just pure disgust…. As an LGBT person in this political climate- I felt very uneasy and will...
