Living spaces has the worst customer service known to man. To sum it up we received our couch over a week ago. It was missing legs. They then overnighted the wrong legs. We called to get the right legs and nothing was sent. Since then we've been asked several times to email pictures of the legs (we have once, not sure why they need them over and over again. Shouldn't they know what legs go on the couch??) I've been hung up on by a very rude customer representative. I've asked to be called by a supervisor. She called and left a voicemail stating she would send an email for me to resend the pictures (again). 24 hours later and still have not received the email. Called back but no manager was available to speak to me and representative told me the legs are in stock but would take 6 weeks to receive.
Living Spaces uses reviews heavily on their website. I received an automatic email several times to send in my review. Each time I sent in my review (6 times) I was sent back an email with lines highlighted in red with things I am not allowed to say. For example- mentions "customer service issues", "contains shipping complaints", "contains inappropriate content". Basically you can only comment about the item itself. Isn't a huge part of shopping about your experience with the company, it's customer service, and delivery?? I have never come across a company that CENSORS it's own reviews. I was not even saying anything inappropriate or completely out of line. I suggest shopping anywhere but Living Spaces, I can't imagine there being a worse or more crooked furniture...
   Read moreAfter the worst shopping experience of our lives at Mathis Brothers last year, we decided to try Living Spaces to replace our living room furniture. I went online and shopped for sofas and chairs that would be very durable as our dogs would lay on the tops and crush the padding and our cats would scratch them as they looked identical in fabric to their scratching post. I found a Chesterfield style sofa and club chair made of virtually indestructible yet gorgeous tightly woven linen fabric, and the design was elegant but also with a masculine edge with the hammered nail detail. The price was crazy inexpensive, so we took a chance without even seeing them in the showroom and ordered the entire suite. To our amazement they are very luxe in person and very firm so that our animals will not wear them out for a very, very long time. Our first delivery was missing a sofa because the frame got broken in transit, and the same delivery team came back a week later with a perfect sofa and arrived early in our 2 hour window time. The delivery crew of Isaac and Joaquin were very professional and polite, and we were happy to tip them both times. Will definitely go to Living Spaces first the next time we need...
   Read moreOrdered furniture online. Once I got a chance to set it up, there was a missing bag of hardware. I then saw one of the boxes had a tear/hole so it probably fell through there during shipping.
Called customer service, they said they would âcheck with the warehouse to see if itâs missingâ and would call me back in 48 hours. They gave me the run around.
Being fed up, the return policy is terrible. Says you can only return within 7 days of delivery. They also charge you return shipping with UPS, not to mention the hassle to repackage everything.
Now Iâm left looking where to buy specific screws or creating a DIY solution. Not very happy.
