I am tremendously disappointed with Chariho Furniture. On December 7, I spent more than an hour in the store deciding what to order. Spent a lot of time choosing fabric and trims. The CR Laine sofa store model (the beige one in the picture) clearly shows trims. I chose a dark grey cloth and light grey for the leather trims. After close to a 3 months wait the sofa was delivered on February 22. The sofa I received is not what I ordered. You can see in the picture that the dark grey has no leather trim. The finish is also shoddy with the connections of the welt cord on the front and side, instead of being hidden on the back side. The "bumps" on the front and side are quite obvious. Delivery men (nice guys) told me that my option was to return the sofa, get a loaner (used sofa, no thanks) and wait for another 3 months. I talked to the COO and agreed for a $300 rebate and keep the sofa which would be serviced to fix the bumpy welt cord connections. COO told me that leather welt cords were extra thats why I did not have them (?) when nothing of the sort was explained when I bought the sofa. (I suspect the "current discounts" on catalog items are more-or-less perpetual.) What's online is probably less than the tip of that proverbial iceberg, but the website will give you a sense of what they can offer. If you think something could work, you should probably just stop by to also explore additional options that aren't online. With the help of one of their consultants, Kathleen, we were able to make a bookcase selection from home using text messages and photos exchanged across most of a day. I’m looking at going into the 8th month of waiting…. This, in my option, is totally unacceptable! I’ve told “Sandra” I NO longer want the table or matching chairs, that are “still in production”!
