Gillman Home Center — Local services in Richmond

8/8/2020 3:30-6:00 PM Talk about customer service! I recently had a flat tire near Gillmans in Centerville. I managed to make it to their parking lot. I then tried to change my tire. One of my lugnuts wouldn't turn so I went inside to get some wd-40. After managing to break the bolt, it just kept turning and wouldn't come off. So I went inside and asked them for any help or advice they could offer, long story short, they loaned me tools, came out to my car, and offered all of their help, while keeping me hydrated with cold bottled water. My hats off to the guys at Gillmans in Centerville.

I'd also like to thank another helpful guy. A customer drove up, got out of his car, walked over and simply said "What do you need?". His name was Paul and he, my father, the guys at Gillmans, and I eventually got that lugnut off. Had to cut it off with a die cutter. Paul was a good samaritan, went back to his house, collected everything we needed came back, and cut off the lugnut and stud post(the knurling had stripped off).

Gillmans in Centerville is by far one of the best hardware stores around. They have so many rentals for any job you need to get done, their delivery is absolutely affordable. From tools, to any home repair item, gillmans has it all. Their location is located in a great area. Restrooms are available and the staff are always kind and helpful. They always interact with the kids. Couldn't ask for a better staff than the guys and gals here. Propane refills are also available. Easier and cheaper than paying for new tanks.
