I had a del here this morning at 9am. Checked in at 830. They gave me door 8 at the whse in the back where all the employees park. There are 3 or 4 docks back there. Easy to get to and plenty of room to maneuver and dock with. The satellite view makes it look smaller. Unloaded with signed bills at 10am and back to staging. O/N parking available for about 4,5,or 6 trucks at the southern most lot at the first entrance. It looks like the refrigerated docks are the 4 docks at the north end of the whse and the frozen docks are the ones at the whse in the back. They also have a small store inside that sells different kinds of meat and sausages and a small selection of cheese at decent prices. One soda cooler also. They also have a small rack with shirts and coats for sell. I would easily return for a load in or out. Had to buy some sausage links...

Read moreWe've always had good luck with Lower's meat, but this past weekend was a kitchen nightmare. We purchased some of their (frozen) shredded pork, with the intent of making pulled pork sandwiches for a wedding luncheon. As I started heating the meat, I tasted it, and it tasted awful; it was very tough, and flavorless. I though it was because it wasn't up to temperature yet, and hoped that when it was completely warmed, and covered in BBQ sauce, it would taste ok. I was wrong. it was literally inedible! We had 50 guests who were trying to choke it down, and it was really disappointing and embarrassing. At least no one got sick from it.... as...
