I went to Redrum on Friday night, and it was EPIC! I had never been to a haunt before, and I was nervous because I don’t typically like horror movies or scary things. But, I was in the mood to do something fun for Halloween and had heard that Redum had shows and laser tag and other things to do if I didn’t want to do the haunt portions. I didn’t know what to expect, but it was so much fun! From start to finish, the atmosphere was perfect. They have actors dressed up and walking around. They interact and stay in character perfectly, adding to the fun. We first stopped at their Elixer bar and ordered a dirty soda. While there, we watched two shows. The performances felt like actors who do this full time for a living. After that, I braved a haunt and I LOVED IT! The Cinegore haunt was my favorite. Every time you rounded a corner, there was a new epic scene with actors dressed perfectly for the room. You never knew what was coming, but the haunt was great about rules of not touching the actors and them not touching you. I felt safe the entire time, but was also able to let myself be immersed and have fun. The haunts themselves last a long time too! I thought you’d walk through quickly, but you get your money’s worth! Highly recommend the Speed Freak pass too. Worth the extra money to skip lines and go through haunts multiple times. Redrum is also really good about spacing you out for the entry, so you feel like you’re alone with just your group in the room, and not body to body. That really helps add to the atmosphere. After braving all three haunts and loving them, we stopped at Purge, which is laser tag but also with actors! That may have been my favorite part! The actors chase you around or jump out at you, but then you’re running after people to shoot them too. Finally, you HAVE to stop at Giuseppe Joe’s food truck. They have several food trucks, but the meatball sub at Giuseppe Joe’s food truck was delicious. Then follow that with a snow cone from the snow cone truck. Can’t go wrong. To wrap up this long review, in summary, SO. MUCH. FUN. The perfect amount of yelling but also laughter breaks to ease the tensions. The actors clearly love what they do, and the grounds actors make the experience extra fun. They have thought of every detail and decoration that will make you feel like you’re not where near Houston. From start to finish, I had the best time. I will absolutely be back. *No pictures allowed inside the haunts, but I got some good ones from the grounds, so sharing those here to give you an idea of...
Read moreI hate to leave bad reviews but this was a pretty crazy experience. Myself and a few friends went out for drinks with a designated driver and then went to a haunted house (Redrum). We went through the cinema themed haunt with no issues with any of the workers in line for that haunt and then in line for the clown haunt there was a strange comment from a clown in the line that I didn’t respond to. And while in line for the clown themed haunt a park officer pulled me to the side, asked if I had anything to drink that evening and then asked that I not walk the haunt. I asked if I could let my group know and they obliged. I sat out and the officers went along. After my group came out my spouse wanted to inquire why I was asked to sit out and after talking to the officers they said we were actually being asked to leave. That’s the short of it. We were not unruly or aggressive to any of the workers nor were we drinking inside of the park. After chatting with the officers after being walked out they said what happens is “the workers get nervous if someone smells of alcohol because it puts them at risk” and that I can understand, although after spending $200 plus at the front they didn’t think we smelled of alcohol then. And then while being wanded with a metal detector at the front we must not have smelled then either. As well as no issues in the rest of the park with multiple other workers. I confirmed with the officers that they do not serve alcohol on premises I let them know that I was surprised by that because every other haunted house I’ve been to has so I assumed it wouldn’t be an issue. Houston Terror Dome and 13th floor both serve alcohol with no issues. Not that alcohol is a staple at all but again, another reason this incident was surprising. No refund offered, obviously. And we left with no incident. I understand there is a level of risk management but if that was the whole issue, risk management should have caught it at the front while paying or while...

I will definitely give them a try next year, hopefully and make sure I go early and get fast pass for sure! Yes I was extremely upset and would of loved to go, I really was excited to try it out but I guess it will have to wait.. due to work.. but thanks for contacting me..
They lie... a group of us went Halloween night, waited in line for the girl to shut the window in people’s face. She tells everyone to move to a different line. This happened 2x. Then when I ask what’s the rules and all for tickets, what’s our best option to purchase seeing how it’s 10:45. I asked about fast passes so we would be able to do them all. She says I am out of fast passes for them all but your best option is buy regular entry online. My husband even stated lines are long, we don’t mind waiting but will we be able to get in them? She stated yes! She even helped us purchase them. I then was told to go to another line for online again... this is the 3rd time moving. When I get to window the other girl says just letting y’all know you may be able to get into 1 house maybe. I said what why?! She says cause lines stop at 12. I explained the girl who helped us order tickets never told me even when we asked numerous times!! She then says y’all can come next weekend. I explained I’m a medical professional and I travel And will be working with a covid team, I’m unable too. She then tells us go back online and we can get a refund. Which was also another lie!! I even emailed to resolve this because we weren’t able to even get into a house by time all this was done!! We wasted 75$ on nothing to stand there in line.. still no response from my email, very bad way to do business. They really need people to be more forward and clear when we clearly asked numerous times and not lie to...
