It sucks seeing all of the responses to negative reviews accusing former or current tenants of being misleading. Every single negative experience that someone went through on here, my husband and I experienced while living here. Roach infestation, no pest control no matter how many times we requested via email, phone call, or office visit. Maintenance never helped fix anything, even when we had water rot and mold. When we renewed our lease, our rent went up(without telling us) from $749 a month to nearly $1400 for a 1 br, 600 sq ft apartment. We had both hit hard times and lost our jobs and had been reduced to lower paying jobs and couldn’t afford the rent, so we had to cut our lease. They said we would be contacted to set up a payment arrangement so our credit didn’t get screwed, and then our phone numbers were blocked and we couldn’t get ahold of them. They told us that we would be charged $1600 for cutting our lease. We finally got ahold of them and the lady, whose name I can’t remember, but it started with a B, said she had negotiated to get the fees dropped due to hardship for us. A year later, a charge hits our credit for $4100. Now we’re stuck living in a horrible apartment complex in a different town because our credit is screwed and the disputes aren’t being accepted. Absolutely awful. THESE APARTMENTS RUINED OUR LIFE. The roach infestation was so bad, they crawled on us in our sleep. And we’re very clean people. The trash was rarely picked up when they said it would be, and the appliances would mess up all the time and maintenance never came. And when they did show up, it was never when we scheduled for them to and they had stolen from us before so we didn’t want them in our unit without us present. They would always show up when we weren’t home. The complex would deny it but we have cameras. 3 years later and we’re still suffering from the aftermath of living in this complex. Our neighbor was a pervert and a creep and even when we reported him for it, they said it wasn’t their problem. And they threatened us when we mentioned going to the police. The bugs were so bad they got in our car and to this day we can’t get them out. Bug bombs, bates, online methods, everything. We were miserable here and were miserable now because of them and we don’t even live there anymore. So, a warning to anyone considering moving here, the negative reviews are legit. Please take my experience as a warning and stay away if you can. You’ll be better off in...
Read moreWe were exposed to dangerous chemicals and fumes due to office incompetence. If you care for your health and safety, DO NOT MOVE HERE. While resurfacing a bathtub in a neighboring apartment, it was not properly ventilated and got into the AC units of our whole building. They never gave notice to any of the units about the work being done. Our pets were exposed for hours. We were left for days without being able to turn on our AC in the middle of summer and left feeling lightheaded, even with all the windows open. We never heard a word from office staff about the issue, they never attempted to rectify the problem. The maintenance staff even said to others in the building that it wasn't safe for tenants to stay there. They may offer good move in deals, but be prepared for the rent to go up 150 afterwards. An extra 150 for lack of parking, the grass area behind the building constantly smelling of dog poop and makes patios unusable (for building 9 at least), consistently broken gym equipment, a pool that can't ve used most of the summer "for repairs", and an office staff that is unavailable or can't be bothered. Not only will your entire security deposit be kept, but they will nickel and dime you over baseless and ridiculous charges. They treat you as a walking dollar sign, not someone trying to make this a home. For the sake of your health, safety, and wallet, you are better off looking somewhere else.
UPDATE: Their response to a bad review was been faster than their response to any of my concerns I addressed in office - absolutely nothing was resolved and I was ghosted. I still never heard back about anything and no one was able to properly explain their ridiculous charges. I still haven't received the final bill in the mail. Brazos Crossing Apartments are scam artists,...
Read moreThese apartments are nice but my experience here hasn't been so great. At random you'll experience power outages when no storm or strong winds. I've found 2 mice in my apartment and roaches which are not suppose to be in new apartments. They could be from others who may have moved out or from the fields or dumpers. The maintenance guys are always on time and always there to help. Assistant Manager Anna and Receptionist Marie are always helpful and are total sweethearts! Any issue they will be right on top of it! The number one reason I wouldn't recommend anyone live here is the water! You will be taking a shower then the water pressure drops then stops flowing and you'll be in there for whenever it comes back on! The water will be different shades of brown, orange, yellow, gray or black, yes black! The color of water will change on you while taking a shower at times! We don't cook with the water bc there is residue or some kind of film on the surface of the water just boiled! My daughter was washing clothes when she forgot to place an item in the wash, when she opened the lid to the washer she called me to check out the water. It was black!!! Yes Black!!! No, it wasn't my clothes! Let's see.... new apartments, rent is $1,525 a month and the water isn't safe to drink or cook with, let's not forget we shower in this filth as well. Sorry Brazos Crossing I wouldn't recommend anyone live here especially if their new apartments. Because of it I've gotten sick along with my children. Your health is more important, stay away from these apartments until the water issue is taken care of. I've included a photo to show you the color of water...
