We’ve been to this shop a few times and have loved it every time. However, we took a trip this weekend and it’s now double the size and SO MUCH TO SEE and love it even more now. We were pleasantly greeted by the shop owner who proceeded to offer us hot coffee and bottled water. After a stressful morning it was just what was needed. That very small act of kindness she shed. It was also like a walk back in time to when people would invite you in for fresh coffee or hot chocolate on a cold day. Just when you think the “good old days” and “good people” can’t be found, it shows up. We proceeded to walk around and even found something to purchase and she graciously gift wrapped the item. Been here before and loved the lady that owned it. This time I was going to make a purchase and was chased out by a loud, obnoxious man with a gun on his hip that came from out of nowhere. He raised his voice at my mother that it was 3 and they close at 3. None of that was necessary. Just say you are closed, it doesn't take all that. Won't be going back there again. I visit The Rabbit Box, often and I have found the vendors to have alot of creative talent. The owner greets you will a smile and kindness. It is a beautiful store with lots of eye candy for those looking to collect Antiques. In the store are pieces of history forgotten but now on display.
