This is how they’re able to maintain good pricing and offer us great locally grown produce (some of it is definitely trucked in from somewhere else but most of it is locally grown). Super kind and helpful people working there. If this is what you grew up with, you’ll love it. If not, this is a way of living that so many people would give the world for. Just take a step back, embrace the blemishes on some of the produce and enjoy fresh veggies when you get them home.

Sure wish they’d offer raw unheated milk for pet consumption though. Right now, we pick this up from Leann Hall at Stone Valley Farms in Dickson, Tn (she makes a drop here in the area) but it would sure be nice to be able to stop in grab how much I need...

Is it just me or has the quality and availability of Smiley’s tomatoes gone down. I’ve been buying tomatoes in Ridgetop and Farmers Market Nashville for 25 years and the last years beginning with COVID has been a big disappointment. I normally go every two or three weeks to one of the locations and buy 10 lbs of tomatoes from green to ripe. When a friend asked about tomatoes, I would bring them some of my Smiley’s, not any more. The last ones I got in Nashville, I threw most of them away. I asked if they were theirs and was told yes. I should have known better. The tomatoes were in bushel baskets, lined with newspaper and clean as a whistle. Not the normal presentation of tomatoes from the fields of 15,000 plants. Trying to find...

Great value for seasonal vegetables. The owners/staff are really kind and helpful. I got everything needed for a nice summer ratatouille tomatoes ,squash,zucchini,eggplant all beautiful .They have a variety of tomatoes. The pole beans are also wonderful. FYI- Payment is with cash or...
