Would not suggest them at all. Terrible service and customer service. It started when they said it would be a 90-120 minute wait, which is rather extreme considering we were half an hour away and in a town, not in the middle of nowhere. After 142 minutes, they text me and say they are having issues with their truck and ask if we can make it for tomorrow instead. While this is happening, State Farm is trying to get in contact with somebody there and nobody is picking up. Eventually their driver pops back up and says they will be there in 11 minutes, then wasn't there after 20 minutes. That's when we finally canceled them and got a new truck out there(Gritten Wrecker Services, who I would now suggest). This new truck commented on how Hogg had apparently canceled on multiple people today already and consistently had estimated times of arrival of 2 hours. That's only the begging of my issues with Hogg Their customer service is terrible too. That service rep who texted me was incredibly rude. It started with them calling me ma'am despite me being a man with a male sounding name. After I corrected them, they proceeded to be extremely passive aggressive by responding "No problem SIR." This immediately ticked me off, and while I'm not proud of my next actions, I felt like the rep just escalated the situation which led to us sharing some nasty remarks at one another. I’m so glad I found Hogg Automotive. Yesterday I was stuck on the side of the road with a smoking tire, and my 3 kids and handicap mother in law. I frantically called the closest auto repair shop which happened to be Hogg. I explained our situation and immediately felt relieved and safe. He knew exactly what the issue was just by the details I gave him over the phone and he assured me I was safe to drive the short distance to his shop and that he would meet me there with the part I needed, which happened to be a wheel bearing. When I arrived at the shop I was warmly greeted by the owner’s wife who was so nice and helpful. It was the end of the business day so I started contacting rental car places assuming I would have to leave my vehicle at Hogg since they were closing in the next 10 min. Shortly after close, the owner showed up with my truck part and serviced my vehicle on the spot in 30 min without me even having to get my kids out of their car seats. That kind of service in today’s world is hard to come by. His work was honest and professional. Price was beyond amazing, but most importantly the generosity, empathy and kindness of the owners I will never forget. I’m glad my kids got to see and experience that day. I live over an hour away from the shop but I will continue to use them for my car repairs and will recommend them endlessly. We love Hogg...

5 stars is all I’m allowed to give, but honestly there aren’t enough I can give. My daughter was headed back to College Station today from Midland and called her dad crying that she had a flat tire outside of Riesel. Of course we are panicked as this was her first trip home and back from college. My husband googled tire and automotive businesses and Hogg Automotive came up, he called and Kevin Hogg answered. He said he would be there in no time to help our daughter. Sure enough not even 10 minutes later he was there and changed her tire(she had a huge cut in it). Thank you so much for responding so quickly and settling our panicked parents heart. Would recommend this business to anyone and everyone and will also be posting on Aggie Parent...
