Michigan Animal Control — Local services in Riley Township

I love Sal and his team!! We have had a few different issues, starting with a bat in our attic. We love bats - just not in our attic - and Sal made sure to release the bat in a very humane way. He and his team have also installed extra sealing for both our roof and our basement to help us ensure we keep the wildlife out. After that, we had a woodpecker issue that he and his team solved for us. I really appreciate the time they take to help us understand how to mitigate wildlife getting in the house in the future, too! Sal and his team are always professional and helpful. I recommend them highly for wildlife animal control.

TO GOOGLE: These 1-star people should be removed. MI Animal Control doesn't, by law, service situations with domestic animals, and telling a customer that they can't help for legal reasons should invalidate the reviews altogether. No service was provided. That's just wrong, and it is misleading to people who need help with quality wildlife animal control that this company...

I made an appointment for an inspection to get a quote. A week later, two men arrived looking like hillbillies, who were also very rude. They didn't cover or take off their shoes upon entering my house and dragged dirty equipment into my house and up the stairs. After poking around in my attic, they quoted over 10K for a clean-up and attic restoration job. When I said I couldn't afford it and other companies quoted a much cheaper price, they brusquely told me that those other companies were not going to do a complete job. Then they said that they weren't going to charge me their usual $150 for the inspection. (No reputable business charges for initial consultation or inspection!)
