I went to this place on a field trip and my experience was good except for a few jarring issues. The service was horrible. The counselors did nothing to stop people from cutting lines and when my group was up first to go paddle boating one of the counselor let the people before us that cut in front of us go first, even though we told him that we were here before them and he said you guys should’ve been in the line when there was no line and it was a block of people. He then made us play a game of rock paper scissors shoot with the people who came after my group to decide who goes up next. Also the breakfast was good if you can get it. The food is served like a buffet and when they called everybody to get it no one would move from the food. Everyone would start eating where the food was instead of eating at the tables. When they were done eating they would take more food. They did not move which made it difficult to get food. You might be wondering where were the counselors to moderate this. No where. They just re filled food as it was happening and they essentially, let it happen. They did not refill the delights/Desserts With the breakfast. That means that you couldn’t get half of the breakfast foods when they ran out. This is horrible because I also paid for food but so many people couldn’t get food. They were stuck with scraps. Lunch was better because they refilled all the lunch and they moderated the lunch better. The same issue happened when they called for dessert. there was no surveillance in some of the activities. Someone could’ve maliciously hurt someone and there would be no counselor or adult to stop that from happening or to report it. Lastly there was an issue with the zipline line. People would cut in front of others, and it was essentially the same issue as a paddle boat line. Now I do know those are the main attractions and there is going to be a long line but at least moderate the line to make sure no one cuts in front of you and so you are not stuck there for hours. I’d say everything else was fine. if you could get the food, the food was great. I know it was raining why were they’re but this is out of the camps control. The activities that they lose out our fun and Enjoyable. The gymnastic activities felt more moderated than the other ones. I don’t know if these would be issues if you were going as a family but I’m sure they have a different system for it. If you want to take your school to this place for a field trip I would not recommend but I would recommend it for a family because it seems like the camp could handle families more than schools. If they can fix these issues then the camp would be better. Thank you for reading and I hope the camp can fix...
Read moreI guess this place is okay if you’re bringing kids there, that is if you support slave labor. They overwork the staff, often young kids just trying to make ends meet, and screw them over through loopholes and hidden terms in a lengthy contract. I know of multiple people along the ages of 18-25 who worked 40 hour weeks only for them to receive 10% of the promised wage due to a term in their “contract” that was hidden in a sentence among multiple pages of paragraphs. If you support shady practices and mistreatment of staff, then I guess this is the place for you. If you’re a decent human being, best...
