Jackson County Junior Fair — Local services in Ripley

I usually love the fair however this year the teenagers were so rude I have never experienced anything like this it was almost like it was stage I wish it was anyway the dancers that were in the barn we're amazing if only teenage group were not so rude to the point of embarrassment I did not stay long because of that I was there with my elderly mother who was pushed around and it tripped I was just extremely embarrassed to say that I was from Ripley at that moment I hope people take more time to talk to their teenagers about respect for their elders I guess I can't blame that on the fair itself but also there needs more seating for the elderly we walked around a lot and there was nowhere to sit and take a break there used to be picnic tables scattered throughout the food area and there wasn't even that extreme...

What a delightful experience after a years absence after a year absence. Not a lot animals to show. Due to the state requiring the kids sign up on line. Most of Jackson County does not have internet service. So leave it up to the state of West Virginia to quash kids dreams of exhibiting their animals.
