If I can give this 0/5 stars I would, the owner is completely unprofessional and will do whatever it takes to get what he wants. I have been a member of this gym for about 2 years and have always paid for a year in advance without an issue. My wife (who has a separate account with the gym) found out we were expecting and she stopped going to the gym because she has been having a hard pregnancy. Her yearly payment ended in April and she stopped using it back in March and quite frankly forgot to let them know she was not going to renew her yearly contract. As I tried to enter the gym today, my key fob was locked out (even though I paid for a year back in April) and his reason for it was that my wife (whose account is not connected to mine) didn’t pay for the last couple months). He stated he locked my fob out of the gym “to get my attention” because I didn’t respond to an email from him only 3 days prior. His business with my wife is totally separate from mine and I felt that it has nothing to do with my account and access to the gym. He stated he’s going to keep my remaining balance to cover my wife’s account balance (again, is not connected to my account). He was completely unprofessional with this whole issue and I will be signing up for the new gym in town called “The Den” at the...
Read moreThe gym has ups and downs ups are if you aren’t there at peak hours you have a lot of room for yourself. Gym is close to my house and 24 hours. Some bad things are the water dispenser is pretty dirty, sometimes people leave tons of weights on the machine to the point my girlfriend can’t use them. Some members believe you have the same amount of time in the day they do and sit on the same machine for 30 min+ as well as the smith machine if the wrong person is on it you may not see that thing for over 90 minutes. I had a gold chain stolen from me here but that doesn’t stop me from coming here because overall it is a good gym. Hopefully we can get deadlifting equipment in the future. The owner makes good changes just like the move to the...
Read moreI really like Ripon Fitness. No one in our family is in great shape. We have bizarre work hours. We have injuries. We have a 12 year old. We feel super safe and super comfortable coming to Ripon Fitness. We get what we need for our health, when it fits our schedule, and an adult can take the 12 yr old along. Also, there always seems to be a nice mix of "Super-Fit Muscley People" and "Relatable Normal People Trying to Be Healthy", which is great because you can learn useful things from watching how both types work out. Finally, there are a lot of first responders. We feel safe going there any time of day or night, which is great for our family members who are night-owl college students and/or who work night shifts. Very happy with...
