Pasco-Hernando State College, West Campus — Local services in River Ridge

The Spring Hill and Brooksville campuses are absolutely horrible. I have been calling for a week now and have left multiple voicemails no reply, I am transferring to a new school and they can't even send my transcripts right and every time I call I cannot even get an answer. Now because of this delay i'm not going to be able to register on time. They sent my original transcripts out wrong and missed a whole term I took on my transcripts and when I asked if they can send another one and make sure it is correct they said they couldn't because it was the other colleges fault, no it wasn't you guys missed a whole semester of my transcripts. Not only that but it took them a whole year to even fix my transcripts that they received from my high school that they put in wrong, saying I had no foreign language even though I took 3 years of it in high school, and they also messed up my birthday and ssn on my account and that took months to fix because they do not answer their phone and even when i went in person to fix the problem it was still never fixed until recently. It would be great if the brooksville or spring hill campus ever answered their phones or even replied to voicemails so we can actually get some decent help, I even email you guys and get no response. A lack of compassion

Waited for over an hour, was called up and told to wait a little longer for someone who could accommodate with my request. Sat back down and when I approached 20 minutes after to inquire regarding the waiting time, was asked to sit down in one of the two chairs to discuss my reason for visiting.

They asked my name, then proceeded to taunt me by assuming my age was older several times, guessing random ages, before giving me a chance to answer their question "How old are you?" Proceeded to degrade me in front of others when looking for options on a list to finish the next step for starting college, then said "Well..we are trying.." with a sarcastic and frustrated tone of voice, when I didn't have one of the necessary second documents shown on the list.

The advisor made me feel absolutely worthless. Felt horrible when leaving the room and left with a feeling that I was far too old with no other options, than to be attending their college grounds. Will keep note to discuss the Wise account and any other details with another advisor, should I encounter this specific advisor again. The Spring Hill campus is the absolute worst of all of the campuses and I’d steer clear of them, opting for the Brooksville campus instead. They’re insanely disorganized, and trying to speak to someone is like pulling teeth. Even when you do speak to someone, they give you the run around. I’ve request for my transcripts to be sent on numerous occasions, dating back to May/April and my school STILL hasn’t received them.

I’ve called multiple times to all different departments to resolve this issue; financial aid, for an advisor and eventually, to the student activities department. I regretfully didn’t ask for their name, but they took my information and said they’d take it to the person in charge of transcripts and that they’d be calling me back within the next two business days. Those business days came and went and I never received a phone call.

I called the North campus instead and thankfully had the pleasure of speaking with Lidia, who allowed my family member to pick up my transcripts in person and just mail them to me.
