ITS AN INDUSTRIAL WASTE SITE. WORKING ON ZUG ISLAND IS AMAZING. ITS ONE OF THE LAST BUSINESSES TO BE HERE FROM BIG AUTO BOOM TO NOW! ITS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO GO BECAUSE ITS ILLEGAL TO GO THERE UNLESS YOU WORK THERE. WITH HOMELAND SECURITY AND BORDER PATROL ALWAYS AROUND GOES TO SHOW HOW CLOSE IT IS TO CANADA'S BORDER. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE CAN JOKE AROUND AND SAY BRING THE KIDS AND LA LA DAH. YOU CAN BRING THE KIDS AND TEACH THEM THE REASON WHY THE ISLAND IS A SENSITIVE PLACE TO GO UNLESS YOU ENJOY THE SMELL OF METAL SLUDGE WHICH YOU WILL TASTE THE WHOLE TIME YOU ARE THERE. I CANT SAY ITS THE CLEANEST BECAUSE THE BUSINESS IS A SLOPPY BUSINESS THAT MOST AMERICANS BUT WORSE MICHIGANDERS HAVE FUN SAYING IT NEEDS TO GO? The beach is so nice!There are now more palm trees near the boat docks.The food is great I would recommend the tall Texan I normally like my beef rare but always use button 5 on the micro there.The fashion trend on the Island is lots of bright orange.If you're there at the right time you could hear the zug island hum,or the thing that sounds like a jet taking off. Reminds me of my last vacation to Plum Island New york. The main similarities are the very unique wildlife that you'll undoubtedly find nowhere else on earth. It's almost like natural selection took over and ran wild with this secluded island, if not natural selection and evolution, something else very unique has affected the local flora & fauna.
