Conlin's Furniture — Local services in Riverbank

I was shopping for a new sectional to replace my 20 year old La-Z-Boy. I had 4 furniture stores on my list and Conlin's was my first stop.

Nice store. The furniture here seems high quality and is made in the US which is very important to me. I was greeted by Leo who invited me to look around. He said if I had questions he would gladly help.

There was one sectional that stood out, but it was the wrong color and wasn't big enough. Leo offered to customize it and took the time to show me the various pieces that could be ordered to enlarge it. He also showed me the various fabric colors and coordinating pillow fabrics.

I said to Leo that I had 3 other stores to shop and wanted to see what else was out there, but because I already felt good about the sectional, and my sales experience, and the fact that the piece was made in Oregon, I went ahead and pulled the trigger.

The next day I went back and asked Leo if he wanted to "make some more money." I upgraded a corner seat to the larger "Cuddle Corner." He made this upgrade very easy and seamless. Then the next day I upgraded to the larger end-piece called a "Cuddler."

I can only rate my store experience because my sectional is still being built.

I went to at least a dozen huge furniture stores in Modesto and Oakdale area. On the first day I found what I wanted and spent 3 more days and 9 more stores and couldn't find anything close. It's being custom made and will take 9 weeks before it's delivered. But getting everything I wanted plus additional features that no other store offered plus I got to choose from over 40 different fabrics or leather to cover my new 84 inch dual power recliner sofa with power headrests and power lumbar support with my choice of cat friendly fabric not leather that my cats would scratch up and make it look horrible in no time at all, was well worth it and much more than any other store had to offer. So if you are someone who knows what they want and doesn't want to settle for anything less this is your store or if your not quite sure what you want but you want to see all the different and latest options that are available, this is the first and only furniture store you'll ever need to shop.
