ALL PROSPECTIVE BUYERS/CLIENTS BEWARE! Purchased a vehicle from Mc Bain Auto Sales. Chad was incredibly rude and the behavior of this individual was abhorrent from the start. Looking back, very seedy and shadowy type of transaction. The vehicle/truck purchased is so adversely altered in so many ways that hinder it from being a safe vehicle to be sold or driven. The majority of vehicles seem to be procured from out of state. Hmmm. There is NO possible way that this vehicle was even checked out by his "mechanics" as he had indicated! If so, please provide a verification of such to the customer. Chad indicated that "it was good to go down the road". I strongly advise that a mechanic of your choice inspect the vehicle you are considering before purchasing! Save yourself the headaches! Issues: All Federally regulated emissions equipment is either missing/ deleted, the computer has been re- tuned to run a program that is unknown and continues to cause additional drivability and safety issues and will incur approximately $15,000+ to get the issues rectified to start! The 'mechanics" could not see this, the owner did not disclose it? Appears to be a significant legal issue prospectively! To list all issues would take many additional lines. How a dealer can sell a vehicle in this particular condition is a LARA issue with the State of Michigan. I encourage anyone with similar issues to pursue a formal complaint.
