Green Acres Cannabis Dispensary Riverview — Local services in Riverview

9-6-2025 update. Review is dropped to 2 stars. Way too many other options around to deal with this place anymore. For some reason they've decided to stop price matching against other dispensaries located in the immediate area for identical products. Not just the same brand, but the exact same product, brand, and strains. Not really a big deal though. Easy ride to King of Buds in Taylor, right off I-75 to get the exact same pre packed product at a MUCH better price. Oh well extra 5 minute ride for me, loss of over a few hundred dollars for them..

I can see why the parking lot is empty most days now, most of those five star reviews are from when this place first opened and the vast majority of those were purchased with a free pre-roll, back when they actually competed for market share. It's not just the over pricing or limited selection, I've noticed that now the vast majority of their "affordable" strains are of such low quality, flavor and potency as to be unusable. They don't rotate bad strains out either, they just sit on it until people unaware buy it. Two examples come to mind, a strain called Donnie Burger and a current pre-pack of a strain called "pound cake" that's been on their menu for 6 months or more now... I remember those strains because I'm one that was tricked into buying them as a pick up order. Saw a good deal and figured this place is reputable, they won't sell garbage that will make you sick. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me... There is no third time.

With all the other active dispensaries in the area and Green Acres being unwilling to compete on price or selection. I can't find any justifiable reason to shop here... Bowz down the street price matched a dispensary in Monroe a week before this review. Bowz Earned a $500 sale and return business from me. Can't recommend Bowz enough honestly, ask for Heather if you go. Don't be surprised if this place shuts down like that one down the street in Riverview that never got any business. I can't even remember the name of it lol.

Another UPDATE! Been here since and it has been a more pleasant experience with a nice knowledgeable budtender.

UPDATE!! Owner or who i assume was, reached out to me. He was very nice and concerned about my issues with the establishment. He was very understanding and is trying to resolve the issue. I will try to go back there and give it a chance because the owner was very professional and understanding. Will update later after my visit back.

UPDATE! Was a loyal customer who went in every Wednesday and sent my husband in on Friday's for the last few month's but no more. I asked the question why the Mitten Extract 5 pack were on sale for $24 each but for 2 of them they said they special was 2 for $54.99. The math ain't mathing. While I asked why is this the rude budtender sat there rolling her eye's at me because I know how to add and subtract. So I walked out and back to Jars I go. Suggest you all do the same because as I left I told the manager and he shrugs it off and walked away without a care. Do not recommend. I recommend Jars. PLEASE DONT SHOP HERE!! not going to say names because management needs to do better..let’s just say there’s an employee here who loves to take advantage of the first-time customer 40% off discount. i’m going to assume the employee discount isn’t quite as good lmfao. i’m not even sure if she charged the right amount considering i had 2 items of my own in my cart before she basically stated -( didn’t ask with an expectation of an answer)- to buy herself an ounce of top shelf flower under my name with my discount applied for her. no matter how much i like the dispensary- which i very much dislike this one- it’s never okay , big or small, to steal from a company. for this to be something she asks to not mention to a manager, and that this is a common thing that is being taken advantage of , is a bad look. please save your time and your money and shop elsewhere. i didn’t feel like i helped out a friend with sharing my discount, i felt like i got taken advantage of by a stranger - first time experience by the way… can only imagine what goes on...
